Jon Dougherty
President & Principal Consultant
With two decades of experience in the safety, corrections, and security industry, Jon has held numerous leadership positions across both public and private sectors. Driven by his passion for security, Jon founded Phoenix Protection Services to protect people and property while fostering strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service. A black belt in two martial arts and a seasoned instructor in subject control and First Aid/CPR, Jon embodies the spirit of a lifelong learner, always seeking to grow and develop. Beyond his professional achievements, Jon is devoted to his family and is an active community member, coaching youth wrestling and offering security services to his local church.
Chris Farrington
SVP, Protective Services
With over a decade of service in law enforcement, Chris brings a wealth of expertise and vigilance to the field of security. He is highly experienced in providing protective services for VIPs, including executives, celebrities and politicians. Known for his passion for safety, Chris consistently delivers top-tier training in various specialized areas including subject control, firearms and active shooter preparedness, vehicle tactics, and executive protection, just to name a few. Since joining the Phoenix team in January 2024 as a consultant and trainer, he has become an invaluable asset. Outside of his professional life, Chris is devoted to his family and enjoys coaching high school wrestling.
Lenny Hall
VP, Threat Assessment & Management
Lenny is a seasoned security professional with over 20 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Phoenix Protection Services, he spent two years as the VP of Threat Assessments at OSS-I, following an 18-year tenure as the Security Operations Director & Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Scotts Miracle-Gro. In addition, Lenny has been an adjunct instructor at the University of Findlay, Center for Terrorism & Preparedness, where he developed training programs for both private and public sectors, focusing on Security Vulnerability Assessment, OPSEC Counter Terrorism Measures, and Threat Assessment & Management. Lenny holds multiple certifications and is actively working on completing his Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies at the American Military University. Throughout his career, Lenny has remained dedicated to continuously enhancing his knowledge and expertise in these areas.
